I have picked these programs because they are inexpensive and have great communities. Blender is completely free as well as open source. While there is some cost to Poser and Bryce they have great communities with gigabytes of free and cheap content to make storytelling easier.

I'm just beginning to showcase some 3d work.  I'm starting with some finished works from tutorials and small functionality tests but I hope to show off some larger works soon. 

The pages in the section Tutorial Reviews and tips are my additions and comments as I follow the many online tutorials that I am learning from.
